How We Approach Research
Every CRID programme begins with rigorous, evidence-based research — we understand a problem deeply before proposing any intervention. We create the datasets India is missing, like the industrial heat map, so that policy and investment can be targeted with precision rather than assumption.
But research at CRID is never an end in itself. From the outset, every study is designed to be simultaneously actionable for three audiences: government bodies that can build national missions around it, industry players that can pilot and deploy it, and climate investors that can fund it at scale.
The goal is not a white paper — it is a transition.
